My name is Gavin, and I am currently a 4th year obtaining dual degrees in Political Science and Conservation and Resource Studies. I am really interested in the ways that policy can be made to produce sweeping benefits for both the environment and people, and which was one of the major factors for why I wanted to join the SERC team. I love being outside by the beach or in the mountains with friends, as well as talking to people I bump into, just being out in nature and showing people how beautiful the natural world is. When I am not endlessly talking I love listening to music and going to festivals, as well as going to farmers markets and hiking with friends.
