Jennifer Lopez is a Class of 2022 Urban Studies Cal graduate from southeast Los Angeles, CA. She is excited to be this year’s Climate Justice College Corp Community Engagement
Coordinator. She has experience in community engagement, environmental planning,
transportation research, coalition building, and environmental justice research. She is excited about applying her urban planning background towards this year’s work on climate justice and learning from students dedicated to this work. She hopes that this year, she and the College Corp fellows can expand their understanding of what it means to decolonize climate action spaces, build meaningful coalitions, historicize climate conditions, and envision different futures.
