Kevin graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Environmental Sciences and minors in Geography and Energy & Resources. While attending UC Berkeley he was a Staff Associate and then Project Coordinator at Cal Zero Waste, where he worked closely with SERC to perform waste audits, coordinate reuse events, and expand the university’s composting program.

After graduating Kevin joined Recology as an intern before being hired in his current role as an Environmental Program Specialist. Based out of the corporate office, he helps ensure that Recology’s operations comply with all pertinent environmental regulations.

Kevin’s main area of technical expertise is in industrial stormwater compliance. In the field he helps collect samples, perform inspections, and implement BMPs. At the corporate level he reviews stormwater documents and evaluates risks based on exceedance trends and the regulatory landscape.

Outside of work Kevin is passionate about martial arts, community service, hiking, and civic engagement.
