Earth Week will be April 17-21, and it is one of SERC’s signature annual programs that includes events each day of the week and hundreds of participants to celebrate the planet and its people. There are two ways to get your organization involved with Earth Week this year: by hosting an event or tabling during our Earth Week festival!

Event hosting information:
We are calling interested students, organizations, and community members to host events throughout the week related to the environment, wellness, justice, and more! It’s a great way to promote your organization to the larger student and community population, and we are encouraging event submissions from orgs outside of the eco community as well! This year’s theme is “hummingbirds: joy, healing, and changemaking”. Event submissions will be due March 15 at bit.ly/SERCEarthEvents.

Festival tabling information:
On April 17 (the Monday of Earth Week) from 2-5pm, we are planning on having an Earth Week Kick-off Festival on the glade! This will be an outdoor collaborative event for all students to celebrate Earth Week. We are hoping to have fun picnic/activity/sporty vibes! We envision the environmental + greater student community hanging out on the glade, visiting booths, celebrating Earth Week, and making new friends. We are seeking groups to host booths at the event. Booths can sell baked goods, host crafts/games/other activities, or simply advertise their club or other environmental resources. Clubs are expected to bring their own signage and table/blanket.
