Laila is a third year from Karachi, Pakistan studying Sustainable Environmental Design and minoring in City Planning. She is interested in decolonizing infrastructural spaces in Pakistan, the complex challenges of global warming and sustainability in cities, and the gendered politics of mobility and displacement. She is very excited to support SERC’s mission, and is grateful to learn from passionate change-makers dedicated to this work! In her free time, Laila enjoys reading poetry and manga, digital and film photography, and mixed-media art.
