Luna Honer-Shields (she/her)
Luna is a fourth year studying Society & Environment and minoring in German. Luna has loved the outdoors since her childhood, which translated into her passion for environmental justice as she got older. She is specifically interested in the intersection of ej and equity with environmental policy, clean energy, and sustainable fashion. In addition to SERC, she has been involved with UC Berkeley Green New Deal developing UC wide climate policy goals and supporting campus electrification, and done various research projects related to social and environmental impacts of battery mining, and carbon accounting, with the sustainability consulting group BEACN. In her free time she enjoys nature swims, tea, graphic design, and backpacking.
